Oreo Truffles

My mom made these while she was up in Utah visiting in October. They were amazing! I ate so many of them, they are so addicting. They are really easy to make too. A couple weeks after she left, I tried making them for myself. I brought some into work, and Kevin brought some into his work as well. Everyone loved them and asked me for the recipe. I will definitely be making these again!

Oreo Truffles

Ingredients:

1 package Oreo Cookies
1 (80z) package cream cheese, softened
2 (8 oz) packages milk chocolate chips

Directions:

Crush 9 of the cookies into fine crumbs in food processor or blender, save for later use.
Crush remaining 36 cookies into fine crumbs; place in medium bowl.
Add cream cheese & mix until well blended.
Roll cookie mixture into 42 balls, about 1-inch in diameter.
Dip balls into melted chocolate & place on wax paper-covered cookie sheet.
Sprinkle with leftover cookie crumbs.
Refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour. Store leftover truffles in refrigerator.
